(for 4 servings)
1 bunch green onions (5-6) 6 paper thin slices beef (or pork)
Marinate sauce: 6 tbsp sake 2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp. oil 1 tbsp sake 2 tbsp mirin 1 tbsp soy sauce
Cut green onions about 5-6 inches. Marinate the meat in the sauce of sake and soy sauce (say about 10-20 minutes). Spread the meat on the cutting board and put the onions on it and roll.
Heat a skillet, and put oil. Add the rolled meat. Cook, rolling it continuously. Pour sake over the meat and cover with a lid for 5-6 minutes. Add mirin and soy sauce until the sauce is reduced to a certain consistency like a tare.
Cut the rolls (diagonal cutting will be nice) to about 2-3 inches and serve.
