Vegetarian Pad Thai

3 Tbsp oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup tofu, cubed
1 egg
4 oz Sen Lek noodles (flat rice noodles)
1 Tbsp perserved turnip
2 scallions, minced
2 Tbsp roast peanuts, chopped
3 oz mung bean sprouts
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp sugar
2 Tbsp light soy sauce
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Stir fry items in order of list, but save 1/2 peanuts and bean
sprouts for the table.
