Lemon-grass Flavoured Chicken Curry

1 stalk lemon grass
1/2 a regular pack tamarind pulp
1 chicken
thumb size blue ginger (lengkus), pounded
4 chopped garlic
4 chopped shallots
4 each green and red hot chilli
turmeric powder
coconut milk
salt to taste

Marinate cut chicken overnight with salt and turmeric. Cut up
ingredients and stir fry till spices are soft, add chicken and
fry 2 mins. Add enough water to cover all ingredients and let cook
till chicken is soft, about 30 mins. Add tamarind pulp and coconut,
let cook for 10 mins. Serve hot.
