Swedish Meatballs
3/4 cup catsup 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup cider vinegar 2 tbsp brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 1 tbsp onion - minced (chopped fine) 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 pounds ground beef 1/2 pound ground pork 1/3 cup catsup 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 2 to 3 dashes tabasco sauce
For Sauce -- Put all ingredients together. Can make ahead and put in jar or tupperware. Store in refrigerator.
For Meatballs -- Thoroughly mix ingredients. Form into balls the size of a prune. Put on pan (cookie sheet) put into oven until done.
Put meatballs in pan. Pour sauce over. Cook about 30 minutes.
Yield: 113 small meatballs

These meatballs were terrific! The sauce was spicy and tart. I used ground buffalo instead of beef and it was awesome. My husband is a meatball convert now. You can serve them as a main dish with a vegetable and it's hearty and won't leave anyone wanting anything else.
