POTATO-FROSTED MEATLOAF
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. catsup
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
8 oz. can tomato sauce
Mix all ingredients together and shape into loaf. Bake at 350
degrees for 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Add 2 Tbsp. chopped
green onion to 1 1/2 cups well-seasoned mashed potatoes and frost
top of loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes more. Serves 4.
