Meatloaf

2/3 pound ground beef
1/3 pound ground pork
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 egg
salt and pepper, to taste
Spike seasoning, to taste
bread crumbs
8 slices bacon
1 package Lipton onion soup mix

Mix every thing together except the bacon and about 1/2 of the
tomato sauce. Use enough bread crumbs so it isn't too soft and
will stay in a nice loaf shape. Place in a baking pan and pour
the rest of the tomato sauce over the top and spread evenly. Lay
bacon strips across the entire loaf. Bake at 350F for about 1
hour.
