Deluxe Meatloaf
Serves 8

1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
6 ham slices
6 mozzaralla cheese slices
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dried oregano

Mix the last 9 items together. On waxed paper flatten out the
mixture to a 1/2 inch thick square about 12 inch long. Cover with
ham and cheese slices. Roll-up like a jelly roll. Separate crescent
roll dough into 4 parts. Wrap the sides and top of meat roll with
dough. Place a wire rack on a cookie sheet and put meatloaf on the
rack (to keep pastry frrom becoming soggy with drippings).

Cook at 350 F for 45 mins. If pastry becomes too brown cover with
aluminum foil loosely. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
