Applesauce Bread
1 pkg active dry yeast
2 1/4 cups bread flour
3/4 cup wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 Tbsps granulated sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch nutmeg
2/3 cup warm applesauce
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup grated fresh apple
If made in a bread machine, add ingredients in order listed (as
your machine's instructions direct) and set for white bread.
Otherwise, make the dough. Let rise til doubled, punch down. Divide
between 2 8x4x2-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350F 40 to 45 minutes.
