Cornbread (Bread Machine)
2 c cornmeal
1 1/2 c milk
4 tb shortening, melted
1 ts salt
1 c white flour
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tb sugar
3 tb baking powder
Use Quickbread setting. Well grease the breadmachine pan.
If you don't have a bread machine that will do quickbreads: Stir
all together. Pour in baking pan. Brush top with melted butter and
bake in moderate oven (350-400 degrees F.) 25 minutes.
