Easter Bread
serves 4 large servings

3 C Bread flour
1 tsp. grated lemon zest.
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 pkg yeast
1/2 tsp.salt
4 Tbsp. butter
3/4 C milk
2 large eggs

4 large raw eggs, colored
2 tsp sprinkles (almonds, cookie sprinkles)

1 large egg beaten with 1 tsp water

Run for a 1 hr dough cycle, punch down and let rest 5 minutes.

Divide dough into 4 pieces. Roll each into 12 inch long ropes, wet
hands. Wrap each rope around a colored egg. Cross ends and pinch
together. Place on a lightly greased 13x9 pan. Cover and let rise
until double in size, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Preheat oven to 375F. Brush breads with egg wash, don't touch the
eggs with it. Sprinkle the sprinkles ontop. Bake 25-30 minutes.
Cool on rack.
