Oatmeal Bread
1 package (1/4 oz) active dry yeast
1 cup quick cooking oats
3 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup molasses
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups plus 1 tablespoon warm water
In bread machine pan, place ingredients in order given. (I put
them in the opposite order - from bottom to top, because that
corresponds with how my bread machine instructions read.) Select
"white bread" setting. Bake according to bread machine directions.
Yield: 1 loaf (1 1/2 pounds)
