3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk
1 large egg
2 tablespoons butter
1 tsp salt
3 cups bread flour
1/3 cup coarsely chopped dried or candied pineapple
1/3 cup chopped candied citron, drained of syrup
1 1/2 teaspoon anise seed, crushed
2 teaspoons yeast
Add ingredients to pan, adding pineapple and citron with flour (if
dough is to dry or too soft, adjust as needed either adding a
teaspoon of liquid or flour.) Use white bread cycle (light color).
Top loaf with a powdered sugar icing (1/2 C powder sugar and enough
milk (2 to 3 teaspoons) to make a icing).
