ABM Tomato Basil Bread

7/8 cup tomato juice
1 Tbsp honey
1 1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp salt
1 to 2 Tbsp vital gluten, optional
2 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp yeast
medium loaf
1 1/4 cups tomato juice
1 1/3 Tbsp honey
1 3/4 tsp basil
2/3 tsp salt
1 1/2 to 3 Tbsp vital gluten, optional
3 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp yeast
large loaf
1 3/4 cups tomato juice
1 1/2 Tbsp honey
2 tsp basil
3/4 tsp salt
2 to 4 Tbsp vital gluten, optional
4 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 1/2 tsp yeast
Fresh tomato juice makes this bread outstanding. If using commercially
canned tomato juice, omit the salt from this recipe. An egg may be
mixed in with the juice for a higher rising loaf. Add the
ingredients to your bread machine in the order given.
