Belgian Waffles 3 cup flour 2 Tbsp. baking powder 2 Tbsp. sugar or 1 Tbsp. honey (for browning) 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted 6 egg yolks 6 egg whites, beaten 1/8 tsp. cream of tarter 3 cup milk, warmed 1 tsp. salt Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored. Continue beating adding butter first then milk; add dry ingredients; beat. Fold in egg whites. Pour batter onto hot Belgian waffle maker. (For a 2 square waffle, use 3/4 to 1 cup batter.)
Serve with butter, maple syrup, whipped cream, fresh strawberries, blueberries, sliced kiwi, peaches, etc. Makes 9 to 10 waffles.
