Bread Pudding
3/4 cup packed brown sugar 3 slices bread, torn into pieces 3 eggs 1 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla cinnamon
Butter liberally the inside of the top to a double boiler. Sprinkle brown sugar over bread pieces. Place bread in top of double boiler. Whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread cubes. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Cover and place over simmering water. Let cook, without stirring, for one hour. Serves 4.
