Bread Pudding

2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
6 eggs
2 1/2 cups milk
13 oz can evaporated milk
1 tbsp nutmeg
2 Tbsp vanilla
1 loaf bread in chunks and pieces
1 cup raisins

Cream sugar with butter. Add the beaten eggs, then milk, evaporated
milk, nutmeg, vanilla, bread and raisins. Stir to mix.

Pour into a deep greased casserole and bake 350 degrees for 2 hours,
stirring after the first hour. Serve warm with hard sauce.
