BREAD PUDDING

1 loaf of bread
1 qt milk
3 eggs
2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp vanilla
3 Tbsp melted butter
1 pint rum sauce

Soak bread in milk and crush with hands until well mixed. Add
eggs, sugar, vanilla and stir well. Pour butter in bottom of oblong
baking pan and add bread mixture. Bake until very firm. Cool. Serve
with sauce.


Rum Sauce

3 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp rum flavoring
1/2 tsp yellow food color (optional)

Mix cornstarch with sugar and add milk, color and flavor. Cook
over medium heat until slightly thick.
