Anise Hyssop Tea Bread

2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
grated rind of a lemon
1/2 cup anise hyssop flowers, chopped
2 eggs
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl,
cream butter with sugar until fluffy, then add lemon rind, chopped
flowers and the eggs. Beat until thoroughly combined. Stir in
the lemon juice. Gradually mix in dry ingredients and nuts, mixing
until blended. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan and bake
for 50 to 55 minutes at 350F. Cool. Wrap in foil and serve the
day.
