Bacon Biscuits

2 cs. sifted, all-purpose flour 2 tsps. baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 c. bacon fat, chilled 2/3 c. milk
Sift dry ingredients. Cut in bacon fat until mixture resembles cornmeal.
Sir in milk to make a soft dough. Turn out on a floured board and knead lightly a few times.
Roll or pat to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut biscuits and place on a ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in a preheated very hot oven, 450 degrees, for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 18 2 inch biscuits.
