Sweet Corn Bread

2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup melted butter, slightly cooled
1 cup yellow cornmeal

Lightly grease a 9x12 glass baking dish. Sift together the flour,
baking powder, baking soda, and salt and set aside. In a separate
bowl, beat the eggs, then beat in the sugar, mix in the buttermilk
until blended, then add the melted butter. Mix the flour mixture
into the wet mixture and finally add the cornmeal. Bake in a 400F
oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve warm.
