Southern Cornbread

2 cups cornmeal
1 cup flour
1-2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
2 eggs
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
dash salt
milk to make batter not too thick and not too thin (1-2 cups)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a cast iron skillet heat some oil
till fairly hot and then add your cornbread mixture and put in the
oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
