Cranberry Bread

1 1/2 c unbleached white flour
1 1/2 c whole wheat pastry flour
1 ts baking powder
1/2 ts salt
2 eggs
3/4 c honey
1/4 c butter, melted
3/4 c milk
1/2 c orange juice
1 1/4 c raw cranberries, chopped
3/4 c walnuts or pecans, chopped

In a mixing bowl, mix the flours, baking powder, and salt together.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add the honey and the melted
butter and then the milk and orange juice. Mix the dry and wet
ingredients together. Fold in the berries and nuts. Pour into a
oiled 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

Bake in a preheated, 325 degree F. oven for 1 hour. Cool in the pan
for 10 minutes. Loosen around the edges of the pan with a knife
before trying to remove the loaf.

Makes 8 servings.
