Cranberry Fruit Nut Bread

4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 T Baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup orange juice
2 extra large eggs, beaten
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 pkg cranberries, coarsely chopped

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease or spray 2 9X3X5 loaf pans.

In large bowl sift together the dry ingredients. Cut in the butter
(like for pie crust). Mix the juice and eggs. Cut the liquid into
the dry ingredients mixing just enough to moisten. Combine fruit
and nuts fold into batter. It will be thick. Pour into loaf pans.
Bake for about 1 hour or until the center of the bread feels solid.
When cool, remove from pans wrap to keep moist. Freezes well.
