Cranberry Pecan Loaf

3/8 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup flour
1/3 cup milk
3/4 cup chopped cranberries
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup flaked sweetened coconut, optional

Blend butter, sugar, and egg until smooth. Add vanilla and baking
powder, then add flour and milk. When well mixed, stir in the
cranberries, pecans, and coconut. Pour batter into a lightly
greased bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/4 hours,
until it passes the toothpick test.
