Spicy Peach Bread
2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 Tbl. soft butter
1 - 16oz. can sliced peaches
1/2 cup syrup from peaches
2 eggs
Blend all ingredients together by hand until moistened. Bake in
a greased and floured bread pan at 350-375 for 60-70 minutes.
Optional: Drizzle with a powdered sugar glaze before serving.
