2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 cup shredded cheddar 3 tblsp grated Parmesan
2 eggs (Egg Replacer works fine) 1/3 cup milk, up to half of it replaced with salsa 5 tablespoons margarine
dash chili powder dash hot sauce or generous dash cayenne pepper dash garlic powder (or 1 clove minced garlic)
Preheat oven to 400 F. Lightly oil baking sheet (need not if it is non-stick). In large bowl stir together flour, baking powder, and spices. Stir in the two cheeses. Cut in margarine. Stir together milk and eggs (and salsa, if used). Add to flour mix and stir until combined.
Spread dough into an 8" diameter circle on baking sheet. Cut into 8 wedges. Bake 15-17 minutes or until lightly browned and a cake tester comes out clean.
