Corn Meal Sour Cream Biscuits

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda

1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup sour cream
1 egg

1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoons melted butter

Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda. Mix
together shortening, sour cream and egg, and then add to dry
ingredients.

Pat out dough and cut with biscuit cutter.

Mix sesame seeds and butter together and spread on top before
baking.

Bake at 400 or 425 degrees.
