Kim's Homemade Rolls

2 packages active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup shortening (1/4 cup butter/ 1/4 cup shortening)
4 cup flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water, stir in sugar, salt, eggs, and
shortening. Add 2 cups flour, beat until smooth, mix in remaining
flour until smooth. Scrape dough from side of bowl. Let rise in
warm place until double in size. Divide dough in half, roll each
in 12 inch circles, spread with butter. Cut into 16 wedges; roll
each wedge into crescent rolls starting at narrow end and rolling
to wide end, put them on baking sheet which has been sprayed with
non-stick spray. Let them rise to double size. Bake in 400 degree
oven until golden brown, brush with butter and enjoy.
