Sausage Bread
1 small loaf frozen bread dough
1 pound Italian sausage, hot or sweet, casing removed
1 large onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
10 oz package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
grated Parmesan cheese
Let bread dough rise according to package directions until double
in size. Roll out into 16-in. circle. Saute sausage, onion and
garlic; drain off fat. Add spinach and mix well. Spread mixture on
bread dough up to 1 inch from edge. Sprinkle with cheese and roll
up jelly roll fashion. Seal edges and place cut side down on a
greased cookie sheet. Score top every 1.5 inches. Bake at 350 for
50 to 60 minutes.
