English Tea-buns

300ml warm milk
25g butter
450g bread flour
1 tsp salt
25g sugar
4 tsp dried fast acting yeast
50g golden raisins (sultanas)

Make dough as normal - by machine or by hand. If by hand - stir
together all dry ingredients, then add liquid. Knead until smooth.

Place in an oiled bowl, covered with oiled clingfilm (plastic wrap)
and leave until doubled in size. Knead lightly again and divide
into 6 pieces and roll each into a ball. Flatten slightly on a
greased baking sheet, and leave to rise untill doubled in size.
bake in a pre-heated oven at 200c/400f gas mark 6 for about
20minutes.

Cool on a wire rack and serve split and buttered.
