White Bread

1 tb yeast
2 c water
1 1/2 tbsp white sugar

flour to make a soft batter. Add margarine and mix well. Mix in
more flour to produce a dough soft enough to handle but not sticky.
Turn out on floured surface and knead until soft and elastic.
Divide dough into 2 pieces and let stand a few minutes. Shape into
loaves and place in greased bread pans. Cover with a tea towel
and let rise till doubled in size. Bake in 350F oven for 35 to 60
minutes, depending on size of loaves. Let cool a little before
