FRENCH TOAST

8 slices stale bread
3 eggs (beaten)
3/4 cup milk
1 Tblsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dash salt
1/4 tsp vanilla

In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and
vanilla together. Heat skillet/electric fry pan on medium heat.
Coat with butter. Dip bread (4 slices per batch) into liquid
mixture on both sides and place in buttered pan. Cook until lightly
browned, and flip over to cook backside. Place on plate and cover
with maple syrup.

Serve with scrambled eggs with green pepper and ham, coffee and
cranberry juice.
