Stuffed French Toast

2 thick sliced sourdough bread
2 oz softened cream cheese
3 oz orange marmalade
1 oz cinnamon
1/2 oz ground clove
4 eggs
2 oz milk
1 oz vanilla extract
2 oz butter for cooking french toast

Spread cream cheese and orange marmalade on both pieces of bread.
Close them together to make a sandwich. Mix all the other ingredient
together to make a batter. Dip french toast sandwich into batter
to soak through. Add butter to heavy bottom pan and cook at medium
heat until golden brown. Place in oven to finish cooking for about
5 minutes.
