SAUSAGE AND GREEN CHILI STRATA
1 pound pork sausage, browned and drained
6 slices white bread, cubed
1 c green chiles, diced
3 c grated cheddar cheese (or use half cheddar and half Monterey jack)
2 c. milk
3/4 t. salt
3/4 t. chili powder
3/4 t. pepper
Oil a 9 x 13 pan pan and layer in it half the bread, chiles, and
cheese. Put all the sausage on top of cheese.
Layer on top of sausage the remaining bread, chiles and cheese.
Mix together and pour over all the eggs, milk, chili powder, salt
Chill overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or
until puffed and browned.
