Black Midnight Cake
Yield: 12 servings
1 c butter
2 1/2 c brown sugar
5 eggs
3/4 c cocoa
1 c cold water
3 1/4 c flour
1 ts baking soda
1/2 ts baking powder
1/4 ts salt
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. In a
separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Mix together cocoa
and water. Add cocoa and dry ingredients to butter alternately.
Pour into a greased 9'x13" cake pan. Bake at 350 25-30 minutes.
