Chocolate Cherry Cake
1 pkg chocolate cake mix (any kind)
21 oz cherry pie filling
3 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbl cornstarch
2 tbl butter, softened
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 egg
Grease and flour a 13" X 9" pan. Mix the cake mix, cherry pie
filling and 3 eggs by hand till well blended. Set aside. Beat next
set of ingredients on high speed till smooth. Pour half of the
chocolate cake batter in the pan, pour the cream cheese mixture
over, then top with remaining cake mixture. Sprinkle with chocolate
chips and pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for just over 45 minutes.
