Chocolate Nut 01

Chocolate Nut Cake
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
dash salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
6 Tbsp shortening
1/2 cup cocoa
Combine all above ingredients in a bowl and melt shortening and
cocoa together and beat into first combined mixture. Mix in 1/2
cup chopped nuts if desired. Pour into a greased cake pan (suitable
for a mold pan: bunny, heart, lamb) and bake 350F 50 to 60 minutes
or tested done.
