Very delicious when served with cool whip. Hot and creamy and moist. Chocolate lovers dream! This was an old family favorite that my grandmother used to make. Looked for hours online to find this recipe. I was thrilled to find it as my grandmother has passed and noone had written it down, it was in her head. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe

This was a main stay for us girls in college. Easy and inexpensive to make. If you are a chocoholic - you will love this cake. It is a wonderful, wonderful comfort food. Who would think from 2 little Jiffy mixes you could make something so wonderful. Indulge yourself and try it.

Grew up in the '60's & '70's with this as a dessert once a week at our house. The cake mix was about 30 cents & the frosting mix 25-30 cents. Put them together w/another 30 cents worth of milk & egg, serve warm w/whipped cream, and if you truley like chocolate it will make you smack your granny. I thought I'd died & gone to heaven when I finally found this recipe.
