Devil's Food Cake
2 cups dark brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
5 eggs (separated)
3 tsp. Hershey's cocoa (heaping spoonfuls)
2 c. flour
1 1/2 heaping tsp. soda
1 c. milk
1 tsp vanilla
Cream butter, add sugar and cream thoroughly, then add egg yolks.
Beat again and add cocoa. Sift flour and soda together and add to
cream mixture alternately with milk. Fold egg whites, beaten stiff
(with vanilla). Bake 20 min in 375 medium oven.
