MOIST FUDGE CAKE (Old recipe)
2 cup sugar
2/3 cup lard
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup cocoa
2 1/2 cup flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup sour milk or buttermilk
1 cup boiling water
Cream lard, add eggs and cocoa. Sift together dry ingredients and
add to first mixture. Add milk and water and mix. Bake at 350
degrees for 45-50 minutes.
