Hot Fudge Cake

1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 T cocoa
2 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1/2 cup milk
2 T oil
1 T vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
4 T cocoa
1 3/4 cups hot water
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add milk,
oil and vanilla. Mix and spread in a 9x9 square pan.
Mix brown sugar and cocoa. Sprinkle over top of batter, but do
not stir.
Pour hot water over top. Do not mix. Bake 350 F for 35 to 40
minutes. Serve warm, possibly with ice cream.

This was a very good version of a hotfudge cake that i've been making for years.I use it now instead of my long time personal recipe.
