Buttercream
2 lbs powdered sugar
2 cups shortening
2 tsp. vanilla
a few tsp (or more) of milk to thin out
1 or 2 tsp. butter flavored extract (optional)
I usually limit the amount of shortening and thin out more with
the milk. It is the standard use for making decorations.
