CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING for a two layer cake 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate 1/4 lb. butter 1 pound confectioner's sugar 1/2 cup milk 2 teaspons vanilla 1/2 to 2/3 cup chopped pecans
Melt butter and chocolate in a heavy saucepan. Cool.Stir sugar, milk and vanilla together until smooth. Add chocolate mixture. Set bowl in a pan of ice and water and beat frosting with a wooden spoon until it is thick enough to spread. Fold in nuts.
