Quick and Easy Caramel Cake
2 layer cake butter cake mix
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
Make 2 layer cake according to package instructions.
Combine sugars, butter, milk and vanilla and bring to a boil. When
boiling hard, time for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to
cool, stirring occasionally to prevent graining. (if your cake
layers are cool, you may use an electric mixer to speed this up)
When icing is cool enough to be fairly stiff, ice cake.
