SOUR CREAM COFFEECAKE

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla

1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Grease and flour Bundt or Angel Food cake pan, even if pan is teflon
coated.

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla and beat. Add dry
ingredients and mix well. Blend in sour cream.

To make topping, combine sugars, cinnamon and walnuts.

Alternate layers of batter and topping. First layer should be
batter, otherwise the cake will stick in the pan.

Bake at 325 degrees F. for 40-45 minutes. Remove from oven and
let stand 15 min. before removing from pan.
