Streusel Coffee Cake

1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream

First, melt butter for crumb mixture, then combine dry ingredients
for cake and crumb mixture. Then, using an electric mixer, cream
butter and sugar until light. Add eggs, one at time, beating
thoroughly after each addition. Add combined dry ingredients
alternately with sour cream, beating until smooth. Spread into
greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan and sprinkle with crumbs.


Crumb Mixture

2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup melted butter

For crumb mixture, melt butter. Combine remaining ingredients.
Add melted butter slowly, mixing with your hands.

Bake cake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. When cool,
sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
