Brown Sugar Coffee Cake

2 1/2 cups flour, sifted
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 egg
3/4 cup milk
powdered sugar

Preheat to 325 deg. Put flour, cinnamon, salt brown sugar and
butter in a bowl. Cut with pastry cutter until crumbly. Don't
make crumbs too fine. Remove 3/4 cup of crumbs for topping. To
remainder of crumbly mixture add baking powder, eggs, milk. Mix
until moisten. Pour into two greased 8" pans. Scatter crumbs on
top. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. When cooled sprinkle powdered
sugar on top if desired.
