Cream Cheese Pound Cake

8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 cups cake flour, sifted
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
powdered sugar

Heat oven to 325 degrees. With electric mixer on medium speed
blend together cream cheese, butter and granulated sugar. On low
speed blend in eggs. Combine cake flour and baking powder; add to
cheese mixture and blend until smooth. Pour into buttered and
floured 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes until golden
brown. When cool sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
