EGGLESS CAKE
10 oz flour
10 oz cold tea
5 oz cup sugar
15 oz cups fruit
2 oz margarine
1 tsp spice
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp treacle
Put tea, sugar, fruit, margarine and treacle into pan. Bring to
the boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Allow to cool. Sift in flour,
spice and baking soda. Bake for 1 hour or a little longer in a
moderate oven.
