Print this Recipe    Fruit Cocktail Cake

1/2 c sugar
2 c flour
17 oz can fruit cocktail
2 eggs
1 ts vanilla

1 stick butter
1 c sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 c coconut
1 c nuts (optional)

Mix sugar and eggs. Add flour and juice from fruit. Mix well. Add
fruit and vanilla. Pour into pans, bake at 350 until golden brown.

Boil butter, sugar, and Pet milk from icing section about 10 minutes.
Add the coconut and optional nuts to this and top cake.

This is the best cake I have ever had from scratch. People think it is hard to make, but this recipe proved it otherwise!
